This is a reproduction of the check strap bracket found on early Series 3 doors. This part has been designed as a weld in replacement for damaged originals where removing the door skin is not possible. This part comes as a Left and Right hand pair (LHS part shown).
So as the part will perform its duty as designed we have altered the top of the part so it can be either plug or spot welded to the doors cross member from the top without the removal of the door skin.
Made from high quality steel and fabricated by us this part will fit and perform just like the original.
